Natural stone is a product of nature.
Its variation in color and lack of uniformity are usually desired characteristics. Due to nature, stone is subject to variation in slip resistance, strength, density, and bleeding from iron content. Southern Stone, LLC can't be held liable, and makes no expressed or implied warranty of merchandise for any type of application.
Southern Stone Policies.
Estimates done by Southern Stone LLC, are done as a courtesy. It's our recommendation that you also get an estimated quantity from your contractor and your installer. Quantities cannot be guaranteed. Please consult with a Southern Stone representative regarding our policies on Returns, Delivery Fees, and Jumbo Bag Returns. Any material that isn’t in stock at the time of purchase, and that are brought in or to be brought into Southern Stone specifically for the order, are considered special orders. Not responsible for orders and/or materials left over 30 days.
Deposits and/or Full Payments.
Deposits and/or Full Payments, are non-refundable, regardless if material is never claimed or order is cancelled. Account holders may place special orders without a deposit, if in good standing and credit limit allows. Account holders, are bound by this contract to purchase material listed above, and pay with in their payment terms.
Return Policy.
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all approved returns, and given store credit only, no exchanges. Store credits will be valid for 60 days. Material and packaging must be in original purchased condition, and if pick up is needed, an extra fee will be applied. Please be advised that credit memos are made under the name of the account (not the person/company making the payment if different from above), and can only be used by the authorized purchasing agent. No returns on manufactured stone, bulk material, hand separated material and special orders.
Non-Payment.
If, for any reason, a check is returned or dishonored, a $35 fee will be charged and legal action will be taken. **Should legal action be brought under the terms of this contract, or should the matter be turned over for collection, provider shall be entitled to fullest extent permitted under law, to reasonable legal fees and costs of collection, in addition to any other amounts owed by customer. Consent is hereby given for filing of mechanic's liens by provider of the material described in this contract, on the property on which the material was used**
Curbside Delivery.
Southern Stone drivers are advised to do a curbside delivery, but as a courtesy will place material where customer advises. If the customer requests placement of material, in a place other than curbside, he/she or the company will not hold Southern Stone liable for any damages to the material, job site, or personal property. It is the customer’s responsibility to secure material, and if needed, protect it from the elements.
